A thick and murky crowd pleaser built on a solid malt base of pale malt and creamy oats. Juicy fan favourite El Dorado makes up the leaf component and and 2019 newcomer Idaho 7 brings the dry-hop charge drawing out big hits of citrus and tropical flavours from the US hops.

Nowadays it seems to be either IPA or Stout, IPA or Stout. We need to break the cycle! Here we are, doing it the only way we know how. A complex malt bill of rich roasted malts gives the beer a deep hazelnut tone while Simcoe, Citra and Idaho 7 interplay to provide a fruity counterpoint to malt flavours.

West coast hops take centre stage in this beer. Leaf Cascade and CTZ bring huge doses of citrus and pine flavour and a healthy dry hop amount of Chinook on the back-end maximise on those flavours with even more pine and subtle tones of grapefruit.

Last time we brewed a fruity wheat beer, people went NUTS; so we knew that the next time we did one, it had to be something special. Using a super pale malt bed and crisp US hops as a base, we mixed juicy pineapple flavours with the unmistakable flavours of wheat yeast. All resulting in this transcendental summer hit.

COLLABORATOR: Northern Rye - Newcastle

A unique kind of sour brewed in collaboration with Newcastle’s superstar baker Robbie from Northern Rye for Collabathon 2019. Using his Sourdough culture as a starting point, we soured the beer in house before adding peppercorns to the boil and then a mix of red berries to the fermenter to round out this unique brew.
